Ingredients
2 dough balls (Best Pizza Dough, Halo Quick Dough)
Marzano pizza sauce (Classic Homemade Pizza Sauce)
Olive oil
Butter
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Fresh basil
Toppings of your choice (diced)
Instructions
Preheat the Versa 16:
Set the Versa 16 to high for 10-12 minutes. If your prep takes longer, reduce the heat to low after 12 minutes.
Prepare the Dough:
Mix 3 parts flour and 1 part cornmeal.
Pat the dough dry with this mixture, then cut it into 8 triangular slices.
Fill the Dough:
Flatten each slice slightly.
Place pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your choice of toppings in the center of each slice.
Fold the corners in and pinch the bottom to seal, ensuring no toppings are exposed.
Cook the Rolls:
Place the rolls on a pizza screen and brush each one with olive oil.
Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
Finish & Serve:
Once baked, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and top with fresh basil.
Let the rolls cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
