Combining peppers, garlic, cilantro, onion, lime juice and spices, this salsa is light, refreshing and addictive. This quick and easy appetizer option has the perfect acidic bite and will have you going back for more.
6 tomatillos husked and rinsed
1 jalapeno cut in half seeds removed
2 medium/large green tomatoes
3 tbsp minced garlic
1/3 bundle fresh cilantro
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
Broil/Grill tomatillos and jalapeno until they start getting black spots from the broiler, remove from oven at desired level of charring.
Put all ingredients in blender/food processor and mix until desired texture.
The jalapeno will likely be the first to start getting black spots so it can be removed early if you choose. I personally leave them all in together.
