Description
Need a tailgate crowd pleaser? This dip combines tender steak, juicy shrimp, and creamy smoked cheese off the PRIME Pellet Grill for a mouthwatering experience. Perfect for tailgates or really any gathering!
Ingredients
4 blocks (8 oz each) cream cheese
All Purpose seasoning (we used Kinder’s)
Steak seasoning
4 steak tenderloins
1 lb raw shrimp
Diced parsley
Instructions
Preheat PRIME Pellet Grill: Set your smoker to 275°F.
Prepare Cream Cheese: Score the top of the cream cheese blocks in a crosshatch pattern and season generously with Kinder’s All Purpose seasoning.
Smoke Cream Cheese: Place the cream cheese on the smoker for 45 minutes.
Cook Meats: While the cheese is smoking, dice the steak and shrimp (ensure they are frozen) and cook in a piping hot skillet with your steak seasoning until done.
Assemble: Once the cream cheese is smoked, top it with the cooked steak and shrimp, then garnish with diced parsley.
Serve: A crunchy and slightly salty chip or cracker would complement the creamy, savory flavors beautifully. Here are a few options:
- Tortilla Chips – Thick, sturdy tortilla chips will hold up well to the dip and provide a great crunch.
- Pita Chips – Their light, crispy texture adds a nice contrast to the creamy dip.
- Ritz Crackers – A buttery, slightly sweet flavor that pairs wonderfully with both the shrimp and steak.
- Kettle-Cooked Chips – Their hearty, crispy texture can stand up to the hearty dip.
- Crostini – Lightly toasted slices of baguette or any crusty bread would add an elegant touch.
