STEP 1: Add yeast to warm water in a large bowl (approx 98°F), and set aside for 5 minutes. Get another large bowl and add the flour and sugar, mix together.
STEP 2: Add olive oil to the water and yeast followed by generous amounts of the flour mixture to the water mixture. If hand mixing/kneading, pour all of the flour mixture into the water mixture. Add salt halfway through. Knead/mix until it’s mostly bound together and a bit sticky.
STEP 3: Cut into 9.5-10oz dough balls (comfortable 12” medium pizzas) and shape them with your hands to create a sphere shape.
Step 4: Place into greased, airtight containers with enough room for dough to double in size. Allow to proof for 2 hours.
Step 5: Lightly dust with flour to counter the stickiness. Begin to shape and top your pizzas for an enjoyable time!
